Putnam Place is located in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs, NY, just 30 miles north of Albany.
We are one block off Broadway; right behind the Uncommon Grounds coffee shop — there is even an alley there that leads right to our door. Across the street is the city’s public library and to our left is the famed Caroline Street entertainment district.
Putnam Place features a full-blown live music experience, complete with a raised stage, state-of-the-art sound and light systems and the largest LED video wall in the region.
The musical lineups at Putnam Place include; local, regional and national (touring) acts, primarily of the original variety and is a premier dance club — with the area’s hottest DJ’s spinning the latest music and timeless hits. Among many others, Putnam Place has hosted such luminaries as: Blues Traveler, Rusted Root, Robert Randolph, Ghostface Killah, Boyd Tinsley and Tim Reynolds of Dave Matthews Band, The Wood Brothers, Slick Rick, Brett Scallions (Fuel), Aaron Carter, Rebirth Brass Band, Ryan Montbleau, Twiddle, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Keller Williams, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Yonder Mountain String Band, Turkuaz, Donna the Buffalo, Melvin Seals & JGB, Max Creek, Infamous Stringdusters, Anders Osborne, The Figgs, Paranoid Social Club, Rustic Overtones, Robert DeLong, Assembly of Dust, Luciano and Deer Tick, not to mention Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Bernie Worrell (Parliament Funkadelic) and Tom Constanten (Grateful Dead).
